Bereavement & Loss

The Akoma ntoso

The “Akoma ntoso” adinkra symbol means linked hearts. For the Akan people of Ghana this symbolizes understanding and agreement depicting mutal sympathy and immortality of the soul.

HEAL| HONOR| RESTORE| SUPPORT

My role as a bereavement and loss doula is a special one. Rather abortion, a miscarriage, stillbirth, infant or child loss, I am ready to support you and your loved ones. I invite you to schedule a free consultation so that we can discuss a support package that best honors your personal experience.

Loss

Whether your loss is unexpected or you are preparing to say goodbye to your child, I am by your side providing emotional, physical, and logistical care every step of the way.

You are still a parent and postpartum care will be grounded in bringing forth the beginnings of healing with holistic, restorative care that focuses on initial emotional processing, honoring you and your baby, nourishment, and connection to community resources.

Abortion

As your doula I provide phone or in-person support before, during, and/or after any procedures. Our time is spent discussing options, standard procedures, and deciding what is best for you.

I am here to address any questions or fears you may have and will provide full postpartum care focused on initial emotional processing, connection to community resources, nourishment, and healing.
